Get Your Writing Noticed, FWA Style

Have you thought about using the Florida Writers Association as a way of getting your writing noticed? Whether you self-published or you went with a traditional, the goal is always to get your writing noticed and of course, sell books.

The FWA has ways of doing exactly that. Surprised? That’s what a lot of our members say when they find out.

You may be aware of the basics, like a spot in the bookstore at the annual conference and talking to people about your books during the mini conferences.

Did you know that you’re always welcome to post your book teaser on the FWA Facebook page?

Did you also know that you can buy an ad for your book(s) for the conference program? The rates start at just $75 for a quarter-page ad. You can also tweet about your book and tag FWA in it to get some additional coverage.

We are writers helping writers. You may post something or share something and get some serious dialogue going with someone. Before you know it, FWA members may want you to come talk at their next writer’s meeting or even have you attend a book signing they’re a part of.

The possibilities are endless and we want to make sure you know at least some of the ways to get your writing noticed. After all, you have gone through the trouble of writing, so you should at least know some of the ways to promote!
