Sponsor Spotlight: Stetson MFA in Creative Writing

We’re proud to welcome the Stetson University MFA in Creative Writing as a sponsor of Florida WritersCon 2025 held on October 17–19, 2025 in Orlando, FL. As Florida’s only low-residency MFA program, Stetson MFA offers writers a rigorous yet flexible path for writers to deepen their craft and broaden their creative horizons.

About Stetson MFA

Stetson University’s MFA in Creative Writing: Florida’s only low-res MFA. Wherever you are. Whatever you write. Stetson’s two-year program specializes in both Prose (including novels, memoir, and short stories) and Poetry “in the Expanded Field” (for text and image work, including photography, installation, video, performance, and site-specific art).

Why Writers Choose Stetson MFA

The program’s low-residency model means writers can pursue advanced study while balancing their personal and professional lives. Students benefit from close mentorship with distinguished faculty, immersive residencies, and a supportive community of peers. Whether your passion lies in storytelling, memoir, or experimental poetry, Stetson’s MFA equips you with the tools and community to grow as a writer.
