An Opportunity to Socialize and Network

Chatting with other authors and industry professionals is one of the best perks of attending a writing conference. We wanted to make sure our attendees would be able to interact with each other. First, all sessions will have a chat feature that is separate from where they ask questions of the presenter. There will also be a writer’s lounge with chat rooms for different genres. Pop in whenever you’d like.

On Friday night, we’re having an Unmasked Mixer in the writer’s lounge. Grab your favorite drink and leave your mask behind! Join Tami Whiting and Arielle Haughee in the lounge to meet, mingle, and laugh with other writers and industry folks. And did someone say prizes??

Royal Palm Literary Award Ceremony

The highlight of our in-person conference every year is our RPLA banquet and ceremony. We usually have a lovely meal and a fabulous dessert followed by the excitement of the winners being called on stage to receive their awards. This year, the RPLA team has an entertaining ceremony planned where the winners will be announced live. Trophies will be shipped after the ceremony.

Exhibit Hall

We have some wonderful sponsors who will be featured in our exhibit hall. To make things fun, there will be a scavenger hunt attendees can fill out for a chance to win a prize! So be sure to stop by and check out our sponsors. You can also click on their links below to visit their websites and get a preview.

This all looks great! I’ll help spread the word to my local writers group. Glad to have Arielle involved as the Marketing chair.
